tcf bank stadium

The clock is ticking on the University of Minnesota as it tries to get TCF Bank Stadium ready to host an NFL game after the Metrodome’s landlord told the Minnesota Vikings it can’t repair the damaged roof in time for the team’s game Monday against the Bears.

The Metropolitan Sports Faci-lities Commission, which operates the Metrodome, said engineers with Birdair, the manufacturer and installer of the roof, concluded the damage caused by the snowstorm last weekend was worse than expected and couldn’t be fixed in time for the Vikings’ home finale.
