For the occasional lottery player trying to strike it rich with a big payout, Friday's Mega Million's jackpot of $242 million seemed like a pretty big deal.
But to the regulars at Ceasar's Inc., 3644 Ridge Road in Lansing -- which sells little more than lottery tickets -- it was just another game.
"It's been busy all week with the holidays," said Judy Novak, a Ceasar's employee. "People are turning in their scratch-offs and getting Megas for that."
Most of the customers at the shop during the lunch hour Thursday were regulars coming in to get their scratch-off tickets or daily lottery drawing picks.
For many, the Friday drawing wasn't even on the radar yet.
Marvia McCray, of South Holland, is in the shop nearly every day and already had purchased her Mega Millions ticket for the Friday drawing. US News Paper
