A Dutch documentary by the State Secretary for Public Health, Marlies Veldhuijzen van Zanten-Hyllner, brought to light the inhumane care of a mentally ill patient that is being treated in the Netherlands. Brandon van Ingen is an 18-year-old mentally ill patient that spends the majority of his days tethered to a wall because he is classified as “potentially dangerous to others.”US NEWS PAPER
