RW Martin Havlat notched the game-winning goal in the third period and added an assist, C Kyle Brodziak scored a goal to reach the 100-point plateau in his career and G Niklas Backstrom made 34 saves, as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Calgary Flames 4-1 in front of a sellout crowd of 18,315 at Xcel Energy Center. RW Cal Clutterbuck added a goal and an assist and C John Madden also scored for Minnesota, which has won two straight and plays at Colorado on Thursday.
